Market Sentiment: Margin Debt Soars to Highest Levels Since July 2008

This is a follow up to the previous post titled Market Sentiment: Margin Debt Soars to Highest Levels Since September 2008 that I published in December 2010.

As of end of Feb 2011, the NYSE margin debt soared to $310 billion, between 15 and 20% higher than the level in December 2010. This is the highest level since July 2007, when market topped and the rest is history.
